Description: Hatha and Mitra
Hatha yoga class has a emphasis on posture alignment and coordination of breath and movement. This yoga practice enhances muscle tone, flexibility, balance, coordination and concentration, detoxifies the vital organs, and encourages a peaceful mind. Hatha yoga participants leave feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed and renewed. The level of the yoga class will depend on the teacher and the needs of the students. Classes can be made easier or more challenging by following the teachers' cues for variations and modifications of the poses; the Hatha/ Mitra class is combined with working on yoga's latest and newest 'back friend' the BackMitra (Mitra is Sankrit for friend) which is a Upper Back Releasing dense foam rubber strip, which is used along your spinal column creating profound release into gravity allowing muscular tension to melt away.
